Nurse Practitioner, Malcolm Cook, is a native New Yorker with over 20 years of healthcare experience. He has dual board certifications in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner.  Mr. Cook began his Nurse Practitioner career in primary care at Unity Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Care Center, one of the largest networks of community health centers in the District of Columbia. Later, he transitioned to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital, an inpatient psychiatric teaching hospital in the District of Columbia. Mr. Cook worked on the forensic psychiatric units and completed clinical rotations in psychiatry at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital. 

As the owner of Platinum Behavioral Health, LLC, his practice focuses on psychiatric evaluations and pharmacological management of mental health disorders in adult patients. Mr. Cook holds membership in several professional organizations including the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians (MAAPC) and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
